Let's talking about what is plastic

    Plastic, another name:resin. Because of the main material is resin. Plastic is a polymer composed of monomers and polymerized by polymerization or condensation polymerization.
    The common advantages of plastic: Light weight, chemistry stable, cannot rust, impact resistance, prefect unconductive, easy to color, easy to shaped, low processing cost. In sofar as the disavantages: easy to transformate, easy to burn, poor size stability,  poor low temperature resistance, easy to be aging and so on.
    According to different usage charactristic, we devide plastic into three kinds, the common plastic, engineer plastic, special plastic. I will introduce these three plastic at follwing.
1. Common plastic.
Normally, it means the big production quantity, wildly usage method, easy to be shaped, lower price plastic. It has five main kinds: PE, PP, PVC, PS, ABS.  Other kinds always belong the special plastics, such as PPS, PPO.

PE has various use ways, such as daily products, tubes, films and other daily products.

PE

 PP's kinds compared more than PE, and has more usage ranges and more complex, such as the daily injection tools, home electronic machines injection parts, high function product and transparent product.

PP

PVC price is more lower, and it has flame retardant characteristic. So it always be used in construction feild. 

PVC

PS has high transparents advantage, so it can be used to meet the transparent requirement, such as the car's light cover, daily tranparent tools and product, and transparent cup and bottles. 

PS

ABS has mach advantages, such as the crash resistance, hot resistance,  low temperature resistance, chemistry resistance, easy to operation, and size stable and so on. So it is wildly used in machine, car, electronic machine, meters, textile, construction and many other industry field.

2. Engineer plastic
It means the material can resistance external force, and has very fine machinal characteristic, high and low temperature resistance, and size stable. So it is wildly used in electronic electrical, cars, constructions, office equipements and aeronautics and so on . Such as the PA, POM, PC and other kinds. 

PA, another name is nylon, it has better mechanical properties and abrasive resistance, and the best hot resistance and unconductive characteristic, and the climate resistance. It always used in producing bearing, gear, and pulley, oil pipeline, oil storage cintainer, oil resistance gasket, protection cover, fan, and door handles and so on.

PA

POM has extra high comprehensive performance, smoothly surfacem, oil resistance, and peroxide resistance, so it is mainly used in automobile and machinery accessories. 

POM

PC has very high mechanical strength, and even it under lower temperature it can resistance strong  shock, so it wildly uesd in pipeline system, meter view pad, insurance glass, especially in mechanical, electronic, automobile, construction and daily use articles. At meanwhile, it is rapidly expanding to aeronautics, electronic caculaters, CD and optical fiber and many other advanced technology field.

PC

In general, there is trend to instead of metal and wood of plastic, plastic will gain more wild usage in furture. (Welcome your comments)
